This work, having combined aesthetic factors as animation and postmodern designs in a sculptural context, and with an intense touch of metal material, provides a dazzled high-tech visual effect of unique character. THORN, on the background of a virtual future, presents a conceptual alienated figure under the reconstruction of the post-industrial economy and human existence. It illustrates an individual’s thoughts over issues as technologies, religions, and wars, etc., and is actually an imagination of the reality beyond time and space.
